Production
use quartz sand, petroleum coke, wood sawdust as raw material, smelting by resistance furane. There are two kind of silicon carbide in our industry, which is black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide. Both of them are hexagonal crystal, specific gravity is 3.20~3.25, micro hardness is 2840~3320kg/mm.
