Strob saws are rip saws which have body slots inlaid with High Speed Steel. The strob slots clear out the splinters and chips to prevent burning.
Haskins Industrial is very proud of the quality of its Strob saws.
We manufacture Strob saws with 2 or 3 outer slots, and Super Strob saws with both outer and inner slots.
We use an induction brazing process to install our single-piece High Speed Steel inlay. The inlay is then precision ground on all surfaces. Our one-piece inlay eliminates the cracking problems which are common behind 2-piece inlay.
Our Strob saws are tipped using the same induction brazing and precision-grinding process as for our guided edger saws, and are subjected to the same inspection criteria.
