Conditioned carbon steel cut wire shot is cut from steel wire. The respective length of the grain is equivalent to the diameter. Depending on the quality of the raw materials used, various strength classes are attained. By rounding the cylinder edges a conditioned grain is created, classified in the grain shapes G1 (rounded edges), G2 (almost spherical grain) and G3 (spherical grain).

ApplicationGenerally, regular hardness conditioned carbon steel cut wire shot is used on parts of hardness less than 50 HRC.
