Texturing is a process designed to improve memory capacity and prevent a head from adsorbing to a hard disk.
With the refinement of our unique polycrystalline diamond slurry, we were the first in the world to have succeeded in direct texture finishing on a glass substrate.
In combination with our own texturing tape, it is now possible
for the ultra smooth processing of substrate surfaces to be
finished and measured in angstroms.
This is now attracting attention as the next-generation magnetic recording method to be incorporated into the next wave of developed products. We are developing processes for vertical magnetic recording method substrates.
