New ceramic fibre discs for high-performance hand grinding of steel and stainless steel. KLINGSPOR Advanced Coating Technology (ACT) significantly improves grit adhesion and ensures that the abrasive grit does not break out until it has been effectively used up. Also, ACT allows cool grinding, prevents discoloration in the grinding of stainless steel and also prevents destruction of the passive layer, which is important for protection against corrosion. Self-sharpening ceramic grit ensures consistently high aggressiveness and cutting results even when working with high-alloy steels. Ideal for grinding of weld seams, edges and surfaces and are available in diameters 115, 125 and 180 mm in all standard grit sizes.
