Halnn superhard cbn inserts grade choose the most suitable specific to different workpiece with different hardness and working allowance, and the cutting parameters as follows:
(1)Finish turning slewing bearing raceway, end face, hardness HRC47-55, working allowance will less than 2mm, we can choose Halnn superhard non-metallic adhesive cbn inserts BN-S200(circle insert), Cutting parameters as follows: Ap≤1mm, Fr=0.05-0.35mm/r, Vc=60-250m/min.
Machining Effect: The cbn inserts lifetime will be 7 times of the ceramic cutting tools, the surface roughness need be controlled within Ra0.6-1.0.
(2)Finish turning slewing bearing cylindrical, end surface, hardness HRC47-55, channel hardness HRC55-62; working allowance≥ 2mm: we choose Halnn superhard non-metallic adhesive on the choice of solid cbn inserts BN-S20 grades. Cutting parameters: ap=1mm,Vc=140-180m/min. Processing effect: long tool life, can replace rough grinding, surface roughness can arrive Ra0.4.
(3)Finish turning metallurgical bearing cylindrical, bearing inner bore, the GCr15 materials hardness will be above HRC62: We Select Halnn superhard non-metallic adhesive CBN inserts BN-H11 grades, Cutting parameters: ap≤1mm, Fr=0.05-0.35mm/R, Vc=60-250m/min. Processing effect: Compared with imported PCBN inserts tool life, the surface roughness will be within Ra0.8.
(4)Finish turning the inner and outer rings of the small and medium bearings and non-standard bearing, (Gcr15 material hardness will be above HRC62), The cutting parameters: ap=0.1~0.3mm, Fr=0.1~0.12mm/r, Vc=120-180m/min. Processing effect: BN-S20 cbn insert processing diameter 500mm below the quenching bearing steel can be completed the process instead of rough grinding with only one step.
