So the hardness of the bonding agent match the dulling rate of diamond particles and anti wear of glass. It means the wear rate of bonding agent is the same as that of diamond in general. Usually the hardness of bonding agent is the same as that of glass, so if the glass is hard, it will use the hard bonding agent for high grinding efficiency. If the glass is soft, it will use the soft bonding agent to ensure the surface of glass.
