Graphite Powder Classifier and Grinder

General 

Graphite Powder Classifier and Grinder was specially designed for grinding graphite (battery cathode materials), according to its processing requirements.

Production is obtained by the combination of one set of LNJP-120A-2 New Jet Mill and two sets of LNI-132A Graphite Reshaping Machine.

Technique description: Materials will be ground and classified in the New Jet Mill first, becoming powders of 5-40 µm and fine powders of -5µm; powders will then be reshaped and fine powders will be separated in the reshaping and classifying machine through a screw conveyor, getting the qualified spherical graphite (d10≥10µm,d50=16-20µm,d90≤40µm) and fine powder -5µm. 

 

Features 

High yield rate  The yield rate depends on the fine powder proportion in the former grinding process. Our new jet mill is a novel grinding machine for special particle size requirements (high yield and little over-ground). The grinding principle is: a first separation of qualified powder after feeding in; then coarse particles enter the milling chamber; each particle impacts only once and immediately be separated out after the collision, qualified particles shall be sorted out while coarse particles into the mill to be ground again, and that cycle repeats; very short residence time of the material in the grinding chamber, will not cause qualified particles be over-ground, therefore it effectively ensures the yield rate. (Producing 5-45µm graphite, yield can reach 90% or higher) 

High purity  After grinding, materials will enter the reshaping machine to be reshaped and separated through a screw conveyor. The reshaping machine is two-grade, reshaping body adopts frequency conversion to adjust speed, and reshaping time can also be adjusted; output particle size can be controlled in the classifier. The reshaping machine uses alloy hammerhead and hard-wearing ceramics linings to guarantee the purity of products. 

No dust pollution  All system are operated under fully sealed negative pressure, which leads the efficiency of dust collector to be higher than 99.9%, without dust pollution. 

Easy handling  PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) full-automatic control system makes it easy to operate with visualized operation.
