Cup wheels with continuous diamond bands are used primarily on straight-line and double edging machines for finishing prior to polishing. Most suitable for the prevention of shelling. Grit selection is generally between 170-325 (D107 to D54 FEPA Norm). The number of grinding spindles available determines the finish of the glass prior to polishing. Profile created is either flat, flat with two arrisses, or flat with chamfer and single arriss. Available for use on a wide range of glass processing machinery (please see table of manufacturers above).
