Compounds: Adamas compounds are available in three carrying media, to satisfy the needs of a wide variety of applications: M-based compounds (Oil soluble) are used for precision finishing of all types of dies and molds, and for polishing optical, ceramic and electronic components. "M" compounds have a wide thermal processing range of up to 400°F, allowing them to be used under the most demanding conditions. U-based compounds (Oil soluble) are used for the same applications as "M" compounds, but are less viscous and allow for more flowability. Better suited for lapping and high speed applications. W-based compounds (Water soluble) are used in the preparation and maintenance of plated and coated tools and dies, including the impregnation and maintenance of Nitrides. No thinners or solvents are required. 
Concentrations: Adamas compounds are available in medium, heavy, extra heavy and super heavy concentrations; the highest concentrations available on the market. 
Thinners: Adamas also manufactures a compound thinner specifically designed for thinning the "M" and "U" compounds. Excellent for keeping the lap moist and for efficient clean-ups.
