Abrasives Association Visit Fused Alumina Enterprises in Sanmenxia

On July 18, for the purpose of having a good understand of fused alumina industry trend, and promoting the development of fused alumina market, senior consultant Zhou Jinlong, engineer Xia Xuefeng of branch abrasives association and others went to Sanmenxia to make an investigate in local fused alumina enterprises.

The consultant said that, the requirement of energy saving and environment protection in China is much stricter now, and has become a decisive factor of survival of enterprises. It is necessary for each enterprise to spend heavily on environment protection. During the investigation, some companies reflect that although industrial park has advantage on electric price, the industry chain is not complete. Most of companies don’t have processing abilities, and their target market is single, which lead vicious competition in industrial park, and most companies have influenced by the payment in arrears and have difficulties in operation. 

Zhou Jinlong, senior adviser, said that at present there are some difficulties in alumina industry, but some companies are in good situation. The reason is that these enterprises according to current market situation, follow the "specialized, refined, special, new" development policies, and abandoned the old ways of repeated construction, blind expansion, and price dumping. They attach more importance to product quality, and play their own advantages to open up a new market. He suggested enterprises in industrial park think about the secrets of others and find their own ways as soon as possible.
